A 50+ Year History Serving The Granville Community
Founded in 1971 by longtime Granville residents Carl Frazier, Ed Roberts, Dick Paugh, and Terry White, the Granville Community Foundation was created to support the charitable needs of Granville, Ohio, while preserving its unique heritage. Inspired by the success of community foundations in other towns, the founders envisioned an apolitical organization focused on strengthening and uniting Granville’s Village and Township.
Through tax-deductible donations, bequests, and legacies, the Foundation provides essential funding to local non-profit organizations. Overseen by a Board of Trustees with representatives from Granville's key institutions, the Foundation distributes these funds as grants, guided by its mission to advance the welfare and civic life of Granville for generations to come.
