2024 Grant Awards
The Granville Community Foundation awarded $100,466 in grants for 2024 to support non-profit initiatives within our community. Each recipient organization shares the Foundation’s mission of uniting the financial contributions of individuals, families, and businesses to support what truly matters—like cherished community events, innovative educational programs, arts cultivation, and assistance for local families.

Camp Kesem offers free summer camp & year-round support to local children affected by cancer of an immediate family member.

This fund supports Granville residents in need through a partnership with the Licking County Coalition for Housing.

Triple C & Community Leadership & Involvement Center at Denison will host an author visit focused on systemic barriers and economic equity.

Start-up funds were provided to support the group’s mission to proactively and positively impact economic growth & development in Granville.

Granville Athletics Mental Performance Initiative provides mental health support to students & coaches through a partnership with OSU.

Grants were provided for portrait restoration celebrating women’s history & for updates needed to modernize the GHS Museum.

Funds were provided to resurface the playground surface at Granville Intermediate School, ensuring ADA accessibility for all students.

The Granville Community Foundation is proud to sponsor the 4th of July Fireworks show during the Kiwanis 4th of July celebration.

Funds were provided to support the cost of meals for Granville residents in need of meal delivery service but can not afford it.

The Power Up to Kindergarten readiness program supports the needs of incoming kindergarten families cooperatively with GEVSD.

GCF partners with GRD to host Concerts on the Green, a 40+ year tradition of a free summer-long outdoor concert series.

GCF is a premier sponsor of the Granville Turkey Trot, a fun, family race tradition that raises money for the Food Pantry Network of Licking Co.

The Ohio Indigenous Voices exhibit honors the art, culture and history of local Native American Tribes and the Newark Earthworks in Granville.

Music on the Lawn is a congregate meal program where senior citizens enjoy lunch, music and togetherness at Bryn Du Mansion.

GCF is proud to be a key contributor responsible for bringing the free Granville Green Line bus route to Granville.

Four free chamber music concerts are performed for the community at Robbins Hunter Museum throughout the summer.

Granville is a proud sponsor of the Hot Licks Bluesfest, which is a celebration of music and culture and occurs on East Broadway.

GCF funds student reporters covering Granville in The Reporting Project, a nonprofit news organization serving Licking County.

GCF provided funds for seating enhancements and ADA accessibility in the children’s theatre at Weathervane Playhouse.

Funds were provided to support the school’s facility and equipment upgrades, specifically new outdoor seating & new water fountains.

GCF supports the choir’s 4th of July traveling music program, which performs during the 4th of July street fair & at area retirement homes.
